Rennicks launches new safety product range

22/06/2018

Rennicks has announced plans to launch three new products centred around road safety at the upcoming Traffex Seeing Is Believing event on the 27 and 28 of June.

The first of these innovative new developments is the Rennicks Integrated Vehicle Mounted VMS - a flexible, mobile traffic information system designed to respond to road traffic incidents.

Rennicks said: 'This universal unit can be fitted to any type of vehicle and is operated on-site or remotely via smartphone or tablet device for swift, safe and easy functionality. The third generation LED screen provides optimal visibility with the option to rotate 45 degrees – perfect for parking in the fend-off position and immediately creating a safe zone for the incident site.'

Also making its debut next week is the Rennicks Independent Smart Pole – a hybrid, eco-friendly solution designed to provide power for a variety of roadside equipment and fixtures.

The Smart Pole features a solar panel and wind turbine to generate clean electricity wherever it is situated, helping provide greater flexibility in off-grid locations and lowering carbon footprints.

The final product is a wireless solar LED road stud for delineation, guidance and warning, which has been designed to work even in areas with incredibly low light levels and harsh environmental conditions.

'Microcontroller technology inside each stud allows updates to control options and changes to LED sequencing post installation– the only road stud of its kind to do so,' the company claimed.

Ross Bullerwell, managing director at Rennicks said: 'We’re delighted to be sponsoring Seeing is Believing this year and exhibiting at the event with both indoor and outdoor product displays and demonstrations.

'I genuinely believe this year’s exhibition will be a game changer in the industry, really showing what innovation means in highways. We are proud to be sponsoring the event and are looking forward to launching a number of innovative new products, centered around road safety.'

Rennicks UK Ltd has specialised in road traffic signage and technology for more than 30 years. It has supplied various sectors including the emergency services and local authorities.
