Booking now open for historic IHE Presidential Event

Booking is now open for the Institute of Highway Engineers's (IHE) prestigious Presidential Event - an evening of grandeur and celebration within the historic walls of Stirling Castle on Friday 21 June 2024.

Supported by headline sponsors Arcadis and Clearview Intelligence, the evening will mark the handover from current President Martin Polland to incoming President Katharine Kelly, who will lead the Institute from June 2024 to 2026.

As the IHE is celebrating consecutive Scotland-based Presidents, Stirling Castle (pictured above) was chosen as the perfect venue to honour their achievements.

What to expect:

• Formal welcome into the castle by a Scottish piper
• Drinks reception - begin your evening with a delightful reception in the castle gardens
• 3-course meal - a sumptuous meal served in Scotland’s largest medieval banqueting hall
• Traditional Scottish Ceilidh - let loose and immerse yourself in the joyous rhythms of Scottish traditional dancing.
