Colas Ltd has opened a new UK headquarters, moving its base from Sussex to Birmingham.
The new offices in Birmingham Business Park, Solihull Parkway, were officially opened on 31 August 2021 by Frédéric Gardès, chairman and CEO of COLAS, and Olivier Roussat, CEO of parent company Groupe Bouygues, who were joined by Amelia Irion, the newly appointed Colas Group Human Resources Director.
Carl Fergusson, CEO Colas Ltd said: 'The new location puts us in the heart of the UK, closer to more of our regional business activities and clients, and offers us the facilities and connectivity we need to support our ambitious future growth plans which we were pleased to share with our visitors.'
The Colas Ltd Executive Board took the decision in early 2021 to relocate the corporate headquarters to Birmingham as part of its long-term strategic growth plans and post-pandemic property review.
The company said it was an 'opportunity to move to a building that provides a lower carbon footprint and enhanced collaborative working facilities which better reflects the post-pandemic working environment'.
