In other news, the IHE is urging members to assist its nominated charity RedR, in helping victims of the Nepal earthquake.
RedR has launched an emergency appeal to help determine the most urgent shelter, water, medical, rebuilding and structural engineering needs in Nepal, and to target their expertise to help the Nepalese people survive and recover from the disaster.
IHE members can provide their support in a number of ways:
- Make a donation
- Circulate our statement among your staff and members and encourage them to donate
- Offer match-funding for staff donations
- Organise a bucket collection in your offices.
Donations can be made online, by typing ‘Nepal’ into the ‘what prompted your donation’ field, or contact alice.hardy@redr.org.uk to find out other donation methods or to order collection buckets.
