Yotta scoops £2m software contracts

Derbyshire County Council has awarded Yotta a two-year contract worth more than £1.3m.

The global connected asset management and services company will provide the highway authority with an externally-hosted (Software as a Service) highways asset management system with associated services.

As part of the contract, Yotta will deliver its Alloy asset management system to the council.

The contract is initially set to run from September 2021 to September 2023, with two options to extend, for 12 months in each case, making the maximum contract period four years.

And in November, Manchester City Council awarded Yotta a contract worth £535,000 to supply a highway asset management system.

Yotta said it is dedicated to applying technology to the advancement of infrastructure asset management and environmental services and that its purpose is to empower those with asset and data-rich environments to make better decisions about the way their infrastructure assets and environmental services are managed.
