Robinson to take part in epic endurance challenge

Highways Reporters

The managing director of Traffic Management Products (TMP) is set take part in the Marathon des Sables – an epic endurance challenge – in aid of the RBLI (Royal British Legion Industries).

Dan Robinson (pictured) will take his place in the starting lineup on 5 April 2015.

Ranked by the Discovery Channel as the toughest footrace on earth, the gruelling multistage adventure takes place in one of the most inhospitable places on earth, the Sahara desert.

Robinson is hoping to complete the race in under six days and will have to carry with him all he needs to survive. He will cover a total of 156 miles in over 100 degree heat – the equivalent to 5.5 marathons.

The RBLI is a charity that is close to Robinson’s heart, and is one of TMP’s key supply partners. If you’d like to show him your support please visit his Justgiving page:
