Highways Reporters

Toppesfield has been appointed as preferred sub-contractor for a £1.4m project by Hochtief (UK) Construction Limited to carry out road surfacing works to provide access to the planned Thames Valley Science Park, which is part of the University of Reading.

The Shinfield-based project will connect the Reading urban area to the north and the A327 Aborfield Road south east of Shinfield. The Eastern Relief Road will run eastward in an arc from a new bridge over the M4.

Matthew Pryor (pictured), CEO and founder of Toppesfield, commented: “At Toppesfield, we pride ourselves on investment in the next generation and as a result we are pleased to have been awarded the contract to provide access to the Thames Valley Science Park. This project is the latest in many that will contribute to the increasing growth momentum of the firm.”
