APT wins Brighton car park contracts

Highways Reporters

APT Skidata has been awarded a contract to upgrade the parking systems at two public car parks owned by Brighton & Hove City Council.
All of the equipment currently in use at both the Trafalgar Street multi-storey car park close to Brighton station and Regency Square underground car park on the seafront is to be replaced with the latest equipment from APT Skidata.

Nigel Young, Business Development Director said: “Having worked with both of these sites for almost 10 years, we are pleased to be returning once again to provide a complete asset refresh.

"Refurbishment of both car parks has already begun, and we expect for the work to be completed early next year.”

At each site, APT Skidata is providing and installing a variety of equipment including the latest versions of its pay-on-foot terminals, entry/exit barriers, speed gates, Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology and integrated pedestrian access control door readers. The systems will be powered by its Parking.Logic management software.
