Race starts for £120m highways contract

Calderdale Borough Council is looking for a highways maintenance specialist to work on a five-year contract in the region worth up to £120m.

The council has started the tender race for a contractor to take-on highways maintenance and improvement work across Halifax.

The contract is valued at between £30m to £120m in the OJEU and up to five contractors will be invited to tender.
