Liverpool after £35m maintenance contractor

Liverpool City Council is inviting contractors to bid for highways maintenance and street cleaning work.

The 30-month job is likely to be broken into two separate lots with highways and street light maintenance accounting for up to £35m of the spend.

Work is expected to get underway from next August and firms have been given until 21 October to express an interest.
