The first of a new series of official podcast audio programmes for Traffex 2017 is now online featuring organisers, speakers and exhibitors at the event.
You can listen to it here.
Presented by Smart Highways editor Paul Hutton, the programmes are radio-style magazine shows. There will be three in the run-up to the event and one each day from the NEC.
In the first programme Paul talks to Conference Director Adrian Tatum about the doubling of conference theatres this year. We hear from former Transport Minister Dr Stephen Ladyman who explains what he'll be presenting and also why it's such an important event for politicians and officials to visit. Also, MD of Dynniq UK Daniel Ruiz explains why he invests in Traffex and we have a few highlights of Paul's previous programmes to give you an idea what to expect.
"I'm thrilled to be working with the team at Traffex to present these podcasts," explains Paul. "I've been making them at events for years but to be working so closely with the organisers this time means I'll have so much more access to the best speakers, thought leaders and exhibitors which will make the programmes even more interesting and informative than ever before."
Paul trained in broadcast journalism on Cardiff University's elite postgraduate course in the early 1990s and brings 25 years' radio experience to the Traffex offering for the first time. He last presented event podcasts from the ITS World Congress in Melbourne back in October.
