Eurovia UK has announced it is now certified to ISO 44001 - the new international framework standard for Collaborative Business Relationship Management Systems.
The certification comes through its Ringway Worcestershire and Hertfordshire long term highway service contracts and the Midlands Highway Alliance framework with Eurovia Contracting North.
A replacement for national standard BS11000, ISO 44001 builds on the collaborative working life-cycle model by including the harmonised high level structure for management systems within its requirements.
A certificate presentation was held on 10th May at the House of Lords where the team was handed the certificate from BSI and The Institution of Collaborative Working.
Phil Morton, our group Integrated Management System manager, said, “What a great achievement for the implementation teams and their collaborative working partners – our respective key Clients. This certification demonstrates our commitment towards developing strong effective collaborative business relationships.”
Pat Clark, Head of Service – Highways Delivery at Leicestershire County Council, added, “We are delighted that Eurovia Contracting have achieved ISO 44001. The County Council has successfully worked with Eurovia on the delivery of several high-profile projects and this accreditation reflects the strong collaborative relationship that has been developed between our two organisations. Congratulations to all involved!”
