A £65,000 project to improve a busy crossroads in Coagh, near Cookstown in Northern Ireland is set to get underway next Monday (9 September).Roads Minister Danny Kennedy (pictured) has approved the month-long improvement scheme on Battery Road/Drumenny Road.During this period two-way traffic flow will be maintained as far as possible but some works operations will require a traffic control system to minimise traffic disruption and ensure the safety of operatives. Work is expected to be complete by 8 October.Kennedy said: “This scheme will improve the road safety for all users by making it easier for heavy goods vehicles to negotiate the junction as well as improving visibility for all road users.”
