National Highways has been announced as the headline content partner for Traffex this month, taking place for the first time at the CBS Arena in Coventry on May 22 and 23.
Taking centre stage for the revamped 2024 conference, National Highways will headline the two days of sessions with top speaking including:
- Elliot Shaw, chief customer and strategy officer
- Nick Reed, chief safety advisor and
- Andrew Kidd – director of environmental sustainability carbon management, Lower Thames Crossing.

The event will bring together stakeholders responsible for the management and development of the UK’s national and local roads.

In total, National Highways will take part in over 10 sessions and appear alongside a wealth of market-leading speakers from across the industry.
In addition, the national operator has confirmed it will be returning to the show floor, hosting hundreds of senior delegates from across the industry in the National Highways Lounge.
Mr Shaw said: 'Traffex is one of the key events in the highways sector calendar, and a real opportunity for us at National Highways to engage with our partners and colleagues across the industry.'
Taking place over four dedicated theatres, covering management and mobility, safety and sustainability, road resilience and winter maintenance, all of the conference comes with CPD accreditation through the Institute of Highway Engineers.
Event attendees will include senior tier one representatives, heads of highways departments, local authority chief executives and National Highways representatives.
