New guidance on the use of portable signals has been put out for consultation by ARTSM (Association for Road Traffic Safety and Management).
The draft Guidance on Use of Portable Signals document is available from the ARTSM and will eventually replace the 2016 Department for Transport Pink Book.
This previous version of the technical guidance included supporting Traffic Advisory leaflets 2/11 and 3/11.
The aim is to prepare an updated document for publication in June, and the ARTSM is urging stakeholders who have so far not commented to give a final round of feedback before the deadline at the end of April.
'If you have not provided feedback please contact ARTSM before 30th April on general.secretary@artsm.org.uk,' an ARTSM representative said.
Correction: This article first referred to portable signs instead of signals. Highways apologises for the mistake.
