Tarmac wins £8m Surrey resurfacing deal

Tarmac National Contracting has been awarded an £8m highways contract with Surrey County Council to deliver up to 30 maintenance schemes.

The two-year deal will see Tarmac National Contracting resurfacing the county’s highways.

Paul Fleetham, Managing Director, Tarmac National Contracting & Middle East said: “This new contract reflects our strong track record of delivering surfacing and our proven ability to work in partnership with local authorities to provide quality, efficient services."

Dr Andrew Povey, Leader of Surrey County Council, said: "We chose to work with Tarmac because the company proved it would work to a high standard in maintaining Surrey's roads while providing excellent value for money."
