Free visitor registration is now open for Traffex, the UK’s leading traffic and transport event, taking place on the 22-23 May 2024.
Over 100 exhibitors have already confirmed attendance at the event - full list here - and the conference programme, due to be published shortly, will include senior figures from the Department for Transport, National Highways, councils, trade bodies and major contractors.
This year, Traffex moves to a brand-new venue - the CBS Arena in Coventry – and for the first time will be co-located with a host of other top conference brands including Parkex, Cold Comfort and the inaugural Evex event for electric vehicle charging.
Supported by National Highways, Traffex brings together local authorities, contractors and suppliers responsible for maintaining and managing the UK road network.
Visitors can register for a free ticket at Traffex, which gives them access to all four shows located conveniently together under one roof.
Parkex is the flagship conference hosted by the British Parking Association, while Cold Comfort leads the debate in the extreme weather service sector.
Completing the line-up is Evex, a brand-new event this year for electric vehicle infrastructure. Evex has been launched to facilitate discussions between local authorities, National Highways and EV infrastructure contractors and suppliers.
Gordon Kirk, event director, said: 'Traffex is an unmissable event for the industry to share best practice, expand their networks and source cutting edge products and services. This year we move to a bigger venue at the CBS Arena, and we have introduced two new shows and five new stages for visitors to enjoy.
'The co-location of Traffex, Parkex, Cold Comfort and Evex also provides a unique platform for visitors to explore the latest trends and innovations across all these industries in one visit under one roof. I am especially excited about the launch of Evex given incoming legislation to ban petrol and diesel cars by 2035 and the infrastructure changes needed to support that; the introduction of Evex is more important than ever.'
