National Highways has issued a pipeline notice for a specialist technical and professional services framework for the Lower Thames Crossing (LTC) worth an estimated £20m.
With the contract expected to have an initial six-year run from 1 January 2027 until 31 December 2032, National Highways has also allowed for a possible two-year extension until 31 December 2034, bringing the total contract length to eight years.
The framework covers consultancy on roads, structures, highway infrastructure, operations, environmental sustainability and health and safety.
National Highways expects to publish the official tender notice for this framework on 6 July 2026.
