Wolverhampton City Council has announced the successful suppliers appointed to its £20m Highways Structures Repairs Framework.

Run in partnership with the West Midlands Collaborative, the framework is split into two lots:

  • Lot 1 – Highways Structures Works (Package Order) value £1 to £100,000
  • Lot 2 – Highways Structures Works (Package Order) value £100,000.01 to £500,000

Both lots have an estimated value of up to £10m each and will cover work taking place in Solihull, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall, and Wolverhampton. Work is expected to include repairs and maintenance for highway overbridges, highway underbridges, footbridges, subways, retaining walls, culverts, fences, and safety barriers.

Of the eight tenders that were received for Lot 1, seven suppliers were successful:

  1. Haystoun Construction,
  2. Neom Engineering,
  3. Coating Services,
  4. Nu-Weld Engineering,
  5. Currall Lewis & Martin (Construction),
  6. VolkerLaser
  7. and R&C Williams.

The same seven suppliers were also appointed to Lot 2.
