WJ Group has opened two new depots near Stoke and Chesterfield to support the ‘continued growth and expansion of the business'.
The new depot near Stoke is located five minutes from the company's Northern headquarters and will serve as a ‘dedicated base' for WJ Sunstone, the company's specialist technologies division that provides technologies including solar-powered generators, security towers and other ITS solutions.
It will be WJ Sunstone's second dedicated depot, joining its existing Whitstable facility and freeing up capacity at the neighbouring Stoke depot to ‘support the wider growth of the business'.
The new Chesterfield depot, located close to Junction 29 of the M1, will provide a new operational base for the region, strengthening support for the company's road marking contracts throughout Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and the surrounding counties.
Alongside the opening of these new facilities, WJ also plans to recruit additional employees for the Chesterfield depot as operations continue to expand.
