Jacobs has been awarded three contracts with National Highways, two of which come from the Specialist Professional and Technical Service 3 (SPaTS3) framework.
The contracts awarded under SPaTS3 will see Jacobs carry out design works for both the M23 Eastville Viaduct and the M5 Wynhol Viaduct.
As one of seven suppliers appointed to SPaTS3 in 2025, Jacobs is joined by Costain, AtkinsRéalis UK, WSP UK, Arcadis Consulting, Arup and Amey on the £495m framework.
Jacobs has also been awarded a role under Lot 2 of the strategic road authority's £420m project management services framework, which it was appointed to in 2020.
Under this contract, the company is expected to lead a multi-disciplinary team delivering ‘a minimum of 15 schemes' over an initial three-year period with the possibility of a two-year extension.

Jacobs declined to share the dates and values of the contracts.
