Highways magazine has unveiled the Steering Group for the Highways Champions Awards 2026 in November - featuring some of the most well-respected figures in the sector from government and national bodies.
Having won the backing of National Highways, the Llywodraeth Cymru / Welsh Government and The Scottish Government, the Highways Champions Awards has already established a leading place in celebrating 'exceptional personal achievements and bravery in the UK roads sector'.
The event has also secured support from the leading trade bodies and associations including the Institute of Highway Engineers (IHE), the Road Surface Treatments Association, the Road Safety Markings Association, the Institute of Asphalt Technology, the Traffic Management Contractors Association (TMCA) and ADEPT, helping represent voices across both the public and private sectors.
The Steering Group brings together senior leaders and industry experts who will guide the Awards, ensuring the utmost integrity throughout:
