Steve Keetley has been appointed by AECOM as the company's client director for highways and streets.
Mr Keetley is a chartered civil engineer with over 35 years' experience, with nearly 12 of those years spent with AECOM.
He has previously held roles in both the private and public sectors, along with academia.
His career started at Tilbury Douglas Construction as a graduate civil engineer and has seen him hold positions including group leader at Middlesbrough Council, head of technical services at Durham County Council, sales manager at Redfern, and visiting academic at the University of Leeds. He even had a stint as a part-time Rugby coach.
Most recently, he has served as a work winning director for AECOM.
Sharing the news on LinkedIn, Mr Keetley said: ‘I am delighted to share that I'm starting a new position as Client Director: Highways and Streets at AECOM! Same Steve, slightly different role.'
