Emily See, former president of the Local Government Technical Advisers Group (LGTAG) and marketing director at Amey, has been made a fellow of the Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation (CIHT).
Announcing the news on LinkedIn, Ms See stated that the CIHT played an ‘important role' in her career, starting when she was recognised as one of the top three entries to the organisation's Young Professionals Technology and Innovation Challenge in 2018.
‘Since then,' Ms See said, ‘the institution and its fantastic team have provided ongoing support, including during my year as LGTAG President.
‘That's why this recognition means so much. It's a milestone that reflects not only my own journey, but the support, encouragement and opportunities provided by CIHT along the way.
‘Thank you to everyone who has been part of that journey, especially Rodney Moffett and Richard Ward-Jones for the support!'
