Galliford Try has appointed Vicky Nugus to the new role of strategic development director for its environment business.
With over 20 years of experience in the sector, Ms Nugus' career has included roles such as work-winning director for Kier Group, proposals manager for McNicholas and systems engineer for BAE Systems.
Ms Nugus will take a spot on the company's Environment Board and is expected to ‘identify and lead' on growth opportunities and pipeline management, working closely with the Board as the business delivers on its AMP8 frameworks (Asset Management Period 8 - a five-year regulatory investment cycle managed by Ofwat for water and sewerage companies in England and Wales from April 2025 to 2030).
She will also be responsible for overseeing the preconstruction functions, including business development, bid management and estimating.
