M Group has named Adele Barker, former 'people' lead at water utility company Pennon Plc, as its chief people officer.
Ms Barker has also held senior positions held at British Gas, Orange and other well-known consumer brands.
She is 'well-placed to drive business growth, transformation and change, in line with M Group's ambitions' the company said, celebrating her commitment to 'nurturing exceptional leadership at all levels'.
M Group chief executive, Andrew Findlay, said: 'Adele brings outstanding experience to M Group at a pivotal time for our business. Her focus on leadership and people engagement will drive sustainable performance and help us build strong, agile teams for the future. I'm delighted to welcome Adele on board.'
