Global consultancy Ramboll has announced two appointments to bolster its transport infrastructure offering and support its growing presence in Scotland following project wins in the devolved nation.
Mark Baynham has been made market director for highways, and Graeme Dodds has been appointed director of urban and transport planning.
Together they have 65 years of experience and will be working on Ramboll's 'growing portfolio of work in major mass transit and large complex highways projects,' the company said.

Mr Baynham joins Ramboll from Mott MacDonald and has previously served as a civil servant in the Cabinet Office. He is a chartered engineer and procurement professional, with over 36 years of experience in the sector.
Based in Scotland, he has led complex highways and defence infrastructure projects and operating services across the UK, Ireland, mainland Europe, and Australasia.
Mr Dodds is an experienced project director who spent 29 years at Jacobs and developed a skillset focused on strategic planning, solution development and appraisal, governance advice and public policy.
He will help drive strategic growth across the advisory market and enhance delivery for new and existing clients.

In recent years, Ramboll won a range of work in Scotland, including conducting an environmental report for Transport Scotland's Island Connectivity Plan. It also previously worked on the Forth Road Bridge.
