A 22-year-old motorcyclist has been killed after crashing into a fixed sign on a roundabout in Stirling, Scotland.The incident happened around 10.30pm on Monday (17 August) on Muirton Road, which is a 30mph two laned road within Springkerse retail park.The motorbike rider suffered serious injuries and was taken to Glasgow Southern General Hospital where he later died.The road was closed for around six hours while police conducted an investigation at the scene.Police Sergeant Roddy MacMillan, from the Trunk Road Policing Unit in Stirling, said: “We are still looking to establish the full circumstances of this collision and would ask that any motorists who were on the road at the time, and who witnessed the incident, to contact police immediately.“Similarly, anyone with any further information relevant to our inquiry should also get in touch.”
