Members of the EU's Transport Committee are discussing "road transport in the era of new technologies" tomorrow (26 April).They're due to see a presentation by Roberta Frisoni of Steer Davies Gleave which analysis, among other things, freight-carrying self-driving vehicles.There'll also be a panel discussion on self-driving cars, with another on ITS and pricing. Last week the European Parliament's legal affairs committee held a hearing yesterday considering  legal implications of the growing use of robotics and artificial intelligence in transport, which featured debate around drones and self-driving cars.
