Update: The Institute of Highway Engineers (IHE) offices in London and Birmingham have now closed. The institute requests that members get in contact only through email or the website now.
The IHE has also suspended all events until at least the end of April, while the ongoing coronavirus threat is kept under close scrutiny.
The IHE has requested that all contact is carried out through email and the 'Contact Us' page on the website in the first instance: https://www.theihe.org/contact/.
'We will endeavour to respond to emails as quickly as possible and continue to provide whatever assistance we can,' the IHE said in a statement.
New chief executive, Steve Spender told Highways that the situation was being monitored and at present, the IHE is operating under reorganised staffing arrangements.
