The Highways Agency has named four specialist firms to supply and erect gantries across the managed motorway network.Main contractors will be expected to use the four specialist which are together expected to build between 200 and 500 gantry structures over the next 4 years. The projected spend will be around £55m.
The gantry framework winners are - Briton Fabricators
- Donyal Engineering
- Nusteel Structures
- Varley and Gulliver
The framework contractors will collaborate with the agency, its contractors and supply chains on the managed motorway programe during design, construction planning, construction, testing and commissioning stages.The framework will also be made available to local authorities
