The South Korean unit of French carmaker Renault has unveiled an artificial intelligence-based car infotainment system.

The system intends to allow drivers to safely maintain their attention on the road ahead and control audio and navigation features using voice.

AJU Business Daily reports that Renault Samsung Motors said the New QM6, the latest sport utility vehicle (SUV) model released in June, will be equipped with “EASY LINK”, an artificial intelligence-based infotainment system capable of recognising human’s voice to control audio and navigation features, in partnership with KT, South Korea’s largest telecom company.

Renault Samsung’s business division head Kim Tae-joon said, ‘We have added innovative infotainment technology to New QM6 to provide more fun and safer driving experiences.’
