ANPR provider Vysionics have launched a new camera for its VECTOR range, the VECTOR-Z.The company says it brings the option of "even higher resolution, along with motorised zoom and focus".The VECTOR integrated ANPR camera was first brought to market in 2013 to "achieve the most demanding of plate reading applications" and the company says it has proved very successful with more than 1,300 cameras shipped to date.Vysionics says VECTOR-Z's enhanced features makes it easier to configure and use, particularly in applications where flexibility is needed around the working distance or field of view.In applications where an overview image is required on a dark road, Vysionics has also introduced VECTOR-IR, a new synchronised Infra-Red (IR) flood light that allows the overview camera to capture a clear image of the vehicle on a completely dark road, without washing out the number plate read from either the ANPR or the overview image.
