The car sharing network Zipcar has announced plans to launch a suite of new features which it says represents the company's "next generation" of mobility services.The features - initially for the North American market - include the ability to choose a destination with designated vehicles can be used either one-way or round trip, change destination mid trip and extend reservations indefinitely.SBD's Telematics News service says Zipcar will now "blend the best of its round-trip model ' guaranteed parking, more than 50 vehicle types and advanced reservations ' with the spontaneity and freedom of new flexible features, all available through the company's website or mobile app."This marks a significant expansion for the 16-year-old company, although it is not yet clear when these services will be available in Britain.
