Deadlines extended for Hampshire transport framework

Hampshire County Council has extended the deadlines for its new Transport, Highways and Infrastructure framework, which is expected to be worth up to £120m.

This new framework is expected to replace the existing Place, Connectivity and Infrastructure Professional Services framework, which has been in place since 2022 and is due to conclude in 2026.

Originally set for 13 October, the deadline to enquire about this framework has now been extended until 20 October 2025, with tenders now expected to be submitted by 29 October, instead of 22 October.

The new framework is intended to come into effect from 2 March 2026 and to last until 28 February 2030, with the work divided across nine lots:

The first lot – Lot 1.A – is intended to deliver ‘larger scale multi-disciplinary consultancy services' with an estimated value of £96m.

The remaining eight ‘B’ lots will be focused on ‘smaller-scale specialist consultancy services’, with each lot carrying an estimated value of £3m:

• Lot 2. B1 – Engineering design specialisms
• Lot 3. B2 – Transport planning specialisms
• Lot 4. B3 – Strategic planning specialisms
• Lot 5. B4 – Environmental, sustainability and decarbonisation specialisms
• Lot 6. B5 – Ecological, landscape and arboriculture specialisms
• Lot 7. B6 – Advice and community engagement for active travel specialisms
• Lot 8. B7 – Traffic management, traffic order and parking consultancy
• Lot 9. B8 – Street lighting design specialism

The successful suppliers are expected to be announced by the council on 2 January 2026.
