FM Conway has won a five-year term contract worth an estimated £10m a year with the City of London Corporation, to provide highway improvements and maintenance works.
The contract will run from 1 July 2022, with the option of a further five-year extension potentially bringing the value up to £100m.
Under the deal, FM Conway will be tasked with high-quality construction and maintenance services encompassing a wide range of assets such as carriageways, footways, bridges, street lighting and drainage systems.
The City of London is an historic area of the UK’s capital featuring unique infrastructure challenges as a result of its heritage.
In addition to developing and maintaining public spaces within the square mile, the City of London Corporation is also responsible for over 10,000 acres of urban green spaces.

FM Conway has a strong record of delivering high-profile projects on London’s historic infrastructure, including the recent refurbishment of London Bridge.
This latest contract is founded upon a partnership approach and the parties 'will work together to reinforce the City’s global reputation as a vibrant and sustainable hub in the heart of London,' FM Conway said.
