Swati Paul has been announced as the new executive director and general counsel for National Highways.
After joining the strategic roads operator earlier this month, Ms Paul has been leading the in-house legal and information rights teams.
She joins National Highways after leaving her most recent role as executive vice president and director at Skanska. She has also previously worked at Transport for London (TfL) and Ofgem and was general counsel and company secretary for London Luton Airport.
National Highways chief executive Nick Harris said: ‘The Executive Team is delighted to welcome Swati to the company. Swati’s wealth of experience in corporate law, compliance, and governance has strengthened our Executive Team and Board.’
Ms Paul added said: ‘I’m really proud to have joined National Highways. I look forward to using my legal skills and diverse sector experience to support the company in its pivotal role in connecting the country.’
