United Asphalt – a producer of asphalt and macadam – has been identified as one of London Stock Exchange’s 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain.
The report is a celebration of the UK’s fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium sized businesses.
To be included in the list, companies needed to show consistent revenue growth over a minimum of three years, significantly outperforming their industry peers.
United Asphalt was formed in 2007 following the acquisition of two asphalt plants located in Berkshire and Surrey. With a focus on developing sustainable products and building a reputation for customer service, the business has grown substantially in a market dominated by global players.
United Construction Materials co-founder and chairman, Ross Snape, said: “From the outset we had to be different from the rest, by focusing on simplicity, consistency and agility, we have been able to stay ahead of the game.
