Cambridgeshire County Council has tendered a £42m, seven-year professional services contract for highways and transport.
Expected to start on 1 December this year, the contract has an initial run of four years until 30 November 2030, with a possible three-year extension taking the end date to 30 November 2033.
The successful supplier will be expected to provide a range of services, including transport solutions, project delivery studies, design services, surveys and investigations, environmental services, future mobility services and construction phase services.
Suppliers wishing to be appointed to this contract must first enquire by 25 February 2026, with requests to participate in the procurement process then due by 9 March. The council expects to announce the successful company by 2 November 2026.
