Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council is looking to set up a new surfacing and civils framework valued at up to £49.8m.
The framework is expected to be split into four lots:
- Lot 1: Surfacing works
- Lot 2: Civils works
- Lot 3: Cold milling works
- Lot 4: Repairs to asphalt surfaces
It is expected to last for an initial two years from 1 August 2026 to 31 July 2028, with a possible further two-year extension bringing end date to 31 July 2030.
The council is looking specifically for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SME) and is expecting to publish its tender notice by 27 April 2026.
