Cardiff Council has tendered a £7.6m environmental and external improvements framework that covers works on highways and footways.
The council is looking to appoint a single contractor to this framework, which will cover improvements for highways and footways, courtyard programmes, boundaries, small environmental schemes, fire actions, garage sites, neighbourhood regeneration division services and ‘other related works/schemes'.
This contract is expected to have an initial run of two years from 1 March 2027 to 1 March 2029, with the allowance for two 12-month extensions bringing the end date to 1 March 2031.
Those wishing to enquire about this framework must do so by 28 September, with requests to participate then due by 5 October.
The council expects to announce its decision by 1 February 2027.
Full details of the framework and how to apply can be found here.
