M Group has partnered with the Association of Apprentices (AoA) to help develop the next generation of talent across the UK's infrastructure, utilities and services sectors.
Under this new partnership, all M Group apprentices will receive free membership of the AoA, a national not-for-profit organisation dedicated to helping apprentices ‘connect, learn and fulfil their potential'.
M Group apprentices will also have access to additional learning content, development activities and resources, as well as opportunities to connect with a ‘wider apprenticeship community' outside of the company.
Full benefits for M Group apprentices include:
- A nationwide community of apprentices across industries and disciplines
- Professional networking opportunities and peer-to-peer support
- Thousands of learning and development resources
- Guidance to support apprenticeship completion and End Point Assessment preparation
- Expert-led events, workshops and masterclasses
- Wellbeing, life skills and career development content
- Resources that can contribute towards off-the-job learning requirements.
Jayne Ellison, interim early careers lead at M Group, said: ‘We are passionate about creating opportunities for people to build rewarding and long-term careers. Apprenticeships are a vital part of how we attract, develop and retain talent, and we're always looking for new ways to enhance the experience we offer our apprentices.
‘Partnering with the Association of Apprentices gives our learners access to a wider community of peers, expert insights and valuable development resources that complement the support they already receive within M Group. We know that apprentices thrive when they feel connected, supported and empowered, and we're delighted to be able to offer this opportunity to all of our apprentices.'
The AoA supports a growing community of apprentices across the UK by providing social, professional and developmental networks that can be ‘difficult to access during an apprenticeship programme'.
