Whale Tankers has been acquired by the sewer cleaning and waste management vehicle maker, Kaiser AG.
Whilst the fee was not disclosed for this transaction, Highways understands that it is over £80m.
With this deal, the Liechtenstein-based company states it ‘further strengthens its global market leadership and significantly expands its international footprint'.
According to Kaiser, the integration of Whale Tankers will add over 600 employees worldwide, with 330 based in Solihull, near Birmingham, and a further 300 in Coimbatore, India.
