Leicestershire County Council has appointed two suppliers to a four-year maintenance resources framework valued at £14.4m.
Midlands-based contractors All Roads Asphalt Solutions and CF Construction (Collingham) have been selected to provide ‘suitably trained and experienced highway maintenance operatives' along with vehicles and equipment.
This equipment and staff are expected to supplement Leicestershire County Council's own permanent teams on an ‘ad hoc basis'.
The contract is not expected to be signed until 24 July and is planned to run from 1 August 2026 to 31 July 2028, with two possible year-long extensions bringing the end date to 31 July 2030.
