Marlborough Highways has been awarded a roads maintenance contract from the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) with an estimated value of up to £114.8m.

Running from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2033 with a possible extension to 31 March 2040, the initial seven-year contract will see Marlborough take over the highways maintenance and capital works for the borough from incumbent VolkerHighways, who have overseen the council's 632 km-long road network since 2017.

Marlborough was one of three bids submitted for this contract, with VolkerHighways and Associated Asphalt Contracting sending in the other two successful tenders.
