Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council has tendered a new £2.9m framework for the provision of superimposed road markings, specialist surfacing (high friction) and studs for three West Midlands areas.
Available for use by the Boroughs of Sandwell and Dudley, as well as Wolverhampton City Council, the contract will be split into three lots, with one covering each region:
- Lot 1: Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council – estimated value up to £1,221,333
- Lot 2: Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council - estimated value up to £960,000
- Lot 3: Wolverhampton City Council - estimated value up to £720,000
The framework is expected to be in place for four years, running from 1 May 2026 to 30 April 2030.
Those wishing to enquire about the framework must do so by 6 March 2026, with tenders due for submission by 13 March.
Sandwell Council expects to announce the successful tenders by 11 April 2026.
