Powys County Council has appointed 10 suppliers to its dynamic purchasing system for the provision of highways and civil engineering works across the county.

The following companies were appointed to the new DPS:

  • M.H.Davies Contractors
  • R.F.Price
  • Tarmac
  • SDW Construction
  • Coyle Surfacing
  • Steve Davies Construction
  • EvaBuild
  • Ithon Valley Groundworks & Surfacing
  • OJ Morgan Services
  • KTH Philips Fencing

Each company was also appointed to smaller contracts following a series of ‘mini competitions'.

The largest awards went to Coyle Surfacing, which won the highest number of contracts (5) with a total value of £702,000, followed by SDW Construction (4) with a total value of £373,000 Tarmac and R.F.Price both won two of the contracts, with the former valued at up to £812,000 and the latter valued at £416,000, with the remaining companies each being appointed to one contract each.
