Thanet District Council is looking to procure a supplier for the design, build and installation of new bus shelters across approximately 90 locations, under a £1.8m deal.
The works, which include construction work for highways, are expected to take 20 weeks and commence in January next year subject to agreements between parties 'on completion of contract formalities'.
The contract covers site surveys and the design, manufacture and installation of new modular bus shelters.
It also includes making electrical connections where necessary, securing highway permits and associated permissions and reinstating footways.
A weighting of 60% price and 40% quality will be used in awarding the contract.
