Highways Live is coming to Wales this September with a new platform for the next generation of sector talent.
A dedicated event for the advancement of highways asset management across Wales, Highways Live Cymru will take place on 10 September 2026 at the Parkgate Hotel in Cardiff, just a five-minute walk from Cardiff Station.
This forum will bring together asset managers, local authorities, consultants, contractors and industry innovators for a day of knowledge exchange, practical case studies and forward-thinking discussion.
This event will also feature a breakout session from the main event, Highways NextGen: Next Steps. The separate session will bring voices from across the sector – both new and familiar – to share their thoughts on routes into the sector, discuss obstacles to entry and, crucially, what needs to be done to attract the next generation of knowledge and leaders.
Presentations and discussions will enable attendees to not only share what support younger colleagues are looking for, but also to put some of their ideas on how to reach new talent into practice.
The one-day event is a fantastic opportunity to network with leaders of the sector and have your voice and thoughts heard about what can help the sector attract the next generation.
