The North West Construction Hub (NWCH) has published a list of 25 consultants appointed to its new construction framework, which has an estimated value of £36m.

The NWCH, formed by Manchester City Council, created the framework to support design and construction projects for the 205 participating organisations or authorities.

The framework is split into eight lots, ranging from multi-disciplinary services to construction design and management regulations.

Of the 25 successful suppliers awarded, the majority are based in the Northwest: 15 operate out of the Greater Manchester Area, two from Leeds, and three others from Liverpool, Preston, and Warrington. The remaining five comprise four suppliers from London and one from Nottingham.

When approached, Manchester City Council informed Highways that the framework would run from 2025 until 2029, despite the notice stating that it would run from 2024 until 2028.

While the council declined to give a reason for why the contract date was altered, it highlighted that it reserved the right to amend the timetable or extend any time period.

Full details of the framework can be found here.
